Mike John and Josh talk about the validity of Love Languages – a concept written about by Gary Chapman in the book The Five Love Languages: How to Express Heartfelt Commitment to Your Mate. Josh and John don’t really see the validity of these “Love Languages” beyond the pop culture indoctrination of following what is popular. Josh thinks each Love Language should be involved throughout the relationship instead of having one or two since people are multi-dimensional. Mike doesn’t want to have to read your mind and play the guessing game when it comes to Love Languages. Ladies – articulate your desires like adults! Mike’s Love Languages are Words of Affirmation and Quality Time. Josh sees how girls are the ones to initiate the topic of Love Languages with their spouse in a way that can finesse their man into creating the relationship they want regardless of what the man wants. Josh agrees completely and says it’s better for men who know what they’re doing in bed as generous lovers. John confesses to being selfish at times, especially if he is tired from working. Mike and Josh talk about how important it is to talk about sex early in the courtship before you have sex. John believes women who have hubris when talking about their sexual talents are usually a huge let down. Mike makes a valid point that most guys are boosting their ego with a lack luster performance.
